The AI Router: the right model for each task

You should not have to pick a model for every message. The AI Router reads the task and sends it to the model that fits.

Different jobs want different models. A coding question is best for a coding model. An image question needs a model that can see. Picking the right one every time is a chore, so we automated it.

How it works

The AI Router looks at what you are asking. If it detects a coding task, it routes to your best local coding model. Math goes to a strong reasoning model. An attached image goes to a model that can actually look at it. You just type, and the right model answers.

Quiet by default, in your control

  • It runs on your local models, so it is free and private.
  • It shows a small tag when it routes, so you always know which model replied.
  • There is a simple on and off switch in Settings if you would rather choose yourself.

Small automations like this are the difference between a tool you fight and a tool that gets out of your way.
